1. Introduction

Unified Engineering Dynamics (“UED”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to providing customers with a reliable, transparent, and efficient shipping experience. This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed through our website and other authorized sales channels are processed, packed, dispatched, transported, and delivered.

This policy applies to products purchased directly from UED through our website or through other sales channels operated or authorized by UED. It is intended to help customers understand our order-processing timelines, shipping methods, delivery expectations, shipping charges, delivery limitations, and procedures for addressing shipping-related issues.

By placing an order with UED, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms described in this Shipping Policy.

2. Order Processing

Orders are normally processed after successful confirmation of the order and, where applicable, successful receipt or authorization of payment.

Processing includes order verification, product availability confirmation, quality checks, packing, preparation of shipping documentation, and handover to the selected logistics provider.

Orders are generally processed during UED’s normal business and working days. Orders received on weekends, public holidays, or outside normal operating hours may be processed on the next working day.

Processing time may vary depending on:

  • Product availability
  • Quantity ordered
  • Product specifications
  • Whether the product is standard or specially configured
  • Payment verification
  • Shipping destination
  • Packaging requirements
  • Availability of the selected logistics service
  • Customer-requested modifications
  • Bulk or institutional orders

For products that require additional preparation, customization, procurement, or technical configuration, the expected dispatch period may be communicated separately to the customer.

3. Product Availability

All orders are subject to product availability.

Although UED makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate inventory information, there may be circumstances in which an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed.

If a purchased product becomes unavailable, UED may contact the customer to discuss an alternative product, revised dispatch schedule, partial fulfillment, or cancellation and applicable refund.

No order shall be considered finally confirmed solely on the basis of an automated order acknowledgment if the order remains subject to availability or verification.

4. Shipping Methods

UED may use different transportation and logistics methods depending on the product, destination, order size, weight, value, urgency, and other operational considerations.

Shipping may be carried out through:

  • Courier services
  • Parcel delivery services
  • Surface transportation
  • Transport agencies
  • Freight services
  • Logistics partners
  • Specialized carriers
  • Other appropriate transportation arrangements

UED reserves the right to select the appropriate shipping method unless a specific shipping method has been agreed with the customer in writing.

For large, heavy, fragile, high-value, industrial, or bulk orders, transportation may be arranged through freight or specialized logistics providers rather than conventional courier services.

5. Estimated Delivery Time

Delivery timelines provided by UED are generally estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless UED has expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Estimated delivery time depends on:

  • Shipping destination
  • Distance from dispatch location
  • Logistics provider
  • Product dimensions and weight
  • Transportation route
  • Weather conditions
  • Local operating conditions
  • Public holidays
  • Regulatory requirements
  • Remote-area delivery conditions
  • Availability of transportation
  • Unforeseen operational disruptions

Customers will be provided with an estimated delivery period wherever reasonably possible.

A delay in delivery does not automatically constitute a failure to supply the product where the delay results from circumstances outside UED’s reasonable control.

6. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges may vary depending on the order.

The applicable shipping charge, where applicable, may depend upon:

  • Product weight
  • Product dimensions
  • Quantity
  • Destination
  • Delivery method
  • Freight requirements
  • Special packaging
  • Insurance or handling requirements
  • Applicable taxes or government charges

Where shipping charges are separately applicable, the customer will generally be informed of the applicable charges before completion of the purchase or as part of the quotation/order confirmation.

For certain products or orders, UED may offer shipping at no additional charge. Such offers may be subject to specific terms and may not apply to all locations or products.

7. Packaging

UED takes reasonable precautions to pack products appropriately before dispatch.

Packaging may include protective materials, cartons, boxes, industrial packaging, cushioning, sealing, or other appropriate methods depending upon the nature of the product.

Customers should retain the original packaging until the product has been inspected and confirmed to be in satisfactory condition.

For products requiring specialized packaging because of their size, weight, fragility, or technical characteristics, additional packaging arrangements may be used.

8. Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at the time of placing an order.

The customer should ensure that the following information is accurate wherever applicable:

  • Recipient name
  • Company name
  • Building or house number
  • Street/address
  • Locality
  • City
  • State
  • PIN code
  • Contact telephone number
  • Any relevant delivery instructions

UED shall not be responsible for delays, failed delivery, additional transportation costs, or return-to-origin situations caused by an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address supplied by the customer.

If the customer identifies an address error before dispatch, the customer should contact UED immediately. UED will make reasonable efforts to update the address where operationally possible.

9. Delivery Attempts

The logistics provider may make one or more delivery attempts according to its operational procedures.

Customers should ensure that an authorized person is available to receive the shipment when required.

If delivery cannot be completed because the recipient is unavailable, the address cannot be located, the customer refuses the shipment, or the carrier is unable to obtain delivery confirmation, the shipment may be re-attempted, held, or returned to the sender depending on the carrier’s policy.

Any additional shipping or re-delivery costs arising from customer-related delivery failure may be recoverable from the customer.

10. Tracking

Where a tracking facility is available, UED or the logistics provider may provide tracking information to the customer.

Tracking information is supplied for convenience and may not update immediately after dispatch.

Tracking updates are controlled primarily by the logistics provider after the shipment has been handed over. UED may assist customers in following up on delayed or unusual tracking activity.

11. Inspection at Delivery

Customers are encouraged to inspect the external condition of the package at the time of delivery.

If the package appears visibly damaged, opened, severely crushed, wet, tampered with, or otherwise compromised, the customer should:

  1. Note the condition of the package.
  2. Inform the delivery personnel where possible.
  3. Photograph or record the condition of the package.
  4. Obtain an acknowledgment from the carrier where available.
  5. Contact UED as soon as reasonably possible.

Customers should not discard the damaged packaging if a shipping claim or product assessment may be required.

12. Damaged or Missing Products

If a product is received damaged, incomplete, incorrect, or materially different from the ordered product, the customer should contact UED promptly.

The customer may be requested to provide:

  • Order number
  • Invoice details
  • Photographs of the outer packaging
  • Photographs of the product
  • Photographs of shipping labels
  • Description of the issue
  • Unboxing photographs or video where available
  • Other information reasonably necessary for investigation

UED may investigate the matter with the logistics provider and determine the appropriate resolution.

Depending on the circumstances, the resolution may include replacement, repair, missing-item shipment, refund, or another appropriate remedy.

13. Delayed Shipments

Delivery delays can occur because of circumstances outside UED’s direct control.

These may include:

  • Severe weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Transportation disruptions
  • Strikes or labor disruptions
  • Road closures
  • Government restrictions
  • Regulatory inspections
  • Public emergencies
  • High seasonal demand
  • Carrier operational problems
  • Incorrect delivery information
  • Remote-area restrictions
  • Force majeure events

If a shipment is delayed, UED may assist the customer in obtaining an updated delivery status from the logistics provider.

Customers should allow a reasonable additional period where the shipment is demonstrably in transit before requesting cancellation solely because of a delivery delay, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

14. Remote and Restricted Locations

Delivery to remote, difficult-to-access, restricted, or specially regulated locations may require additional time or transportation charges.

Some products may not be deliverable to certain locations because of transportation restrictions, product characteristics, regulatory requirements, or logistics limitations.

If UED cannot reasonably fulfill delivery to the requested location, UED may contact the customer regarding an alternative address, transportation arrangement, or cancellation and applicable refund.

15. International Shipping

Unless expressly offered by UED, international shipping may not be available for every product.

Where international shipping is offered, the customer may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, local levies, clearance charges, brokerage fees, and other destination-country charges unless otherwise stated.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the purchased product may legally be imported into the destination country.

Delivery times for international shipments may be affected by customs clearance and other regulatory procedures.

16. Bulk and Business Orders

Bulk, institutional, commercial, industrial, or project-based orders may be subject to separate shipping arrangements.

For such orders, UED may provide a quotation specifying:

  • Dispatch schedule
  • Delivery schedule
  • Freight charges
  • Packaging requirements
  • Transportation method
  • Delivery location
  • Partial shipment arrangements
  • Installation or handling requirements, where applicable

The terms stated in the applicable quotation or purchase agreement shall govern where they differ from this general Shipping Policy.

17. Cancellation During Shipping

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be operationally possible.

A customer requesting cancellation after dispatch may be required to follow the applicable Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.

If a shipment is refused without an agreed cancellation, UED may recover applicable shipping, return, handling, or other reasonable costs where permitted by applicable law.

18. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate delivery information
  • Providing a reachable contact number
  • Being available for delivery when required
  • Inspecting shipments upon receipt
  • Reporting shipping problems promptly
  • Retaining relevant packaging and documentation
  • Cooperating with reasonable investigation procedures

Failure to comply with these responsibilities may affect the ability of UED to investigate or resolve a shipping-related claim.

19. Force Majeure

UED shall not be responsible for delays or inability to perform shipping obligations caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

Such events may include natural disasters, war, civil disturbances, epidemics, government actions, transportation disruptions, strikes, infrastructure failures, severe weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.

UED will make reasonable efforts to resume normal fulfillment and delivery operations when circumstances permit.

20. Policy Changes

UED may modify this Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, regulatory, or business changes.

The updated version published on the website shall apply to orders placed after the effective date of the revised policy, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
